Any Bangladeshi female may divorce her husband by giving notice to her husband when empowered to do so by Clause 18 of their Kabin-namah (marriage contract)
Any married couple may divorce each other mutually by registration of Khula divorce before an appointed registrar

These divorces can be contested by their other halves.|
